Conductive tape is used for the slot corona protection of high-voltage windings in electric machines. It may be used for both resin-rich (RR) and vacuum-pressure-impregnation (VPI) technologies. Semiconductive tapes are used for the corona protection of the coils and parts.
CORONA PROTECTION
CONDUCTIVE TAPE
Corona protection tape is a highly flexible polyester fleece, impregnated with resin containing carbon and thereby made conductive
It is used for slot part corona protection of the high voltage windings of electric machines

The tape must be stored in the manufacturer's packaging in a closed, dry room on racks at a distance from the floor not less than 5 cm and not less than 1 m from existing heating and heating devices at a temperature of 15 - 35 °C and relative air humidity of 45 - 75% for six months. The tape should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The tape can also be stored at a temperature of (5±3) °C for twelve months. In this case, before use, the tape must be kept for at least 24 hours in a heated room at a temperature of 15 - 35 °C.
